Street, Home, Hospital and, Prison Evangelism
SHAPE Zambia
SHAPE is an acronym of Street, Home, Hospital, And Street Evangelism, including rural communities. We also provide pastoral services to those in hospitals and their carers, as well as those in correctional facilities in remand or prison. People facing challenges arising from disasters are of great concern to us, and so we provide them with the needed financial, material and emotional support.
What We Believe In
We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Birth, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord. We believe in the Bible as God's revealed truth to the world. We believe in Baptism and the power of Prayer.
What We Do
We are passionate about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ on a one on one basis as we hand out Christian tracts and Bibles to willing individuals, while leaving the actual work of Salvation to God alone. We also distribute these to churches, corporate entities. In addition, we also provide pastoral care (chaplaincy services to patients in hospitals and their carers, and to those in correctional facilities, in remand or prison. Our care includes supporting, counselling, and guiding all those facing psycho-spiritual challenges. We also provide humanitarian aid in the form of finance and materials to the most vulnerable in our communities facing crises.
Our Projects
Our programs and projects cover evangelistic outreach to people on the streets, homes, hospitals, correctional facilities, and rural communities. Along this, we provide pastoral care to those in need in hospitals, correctional facilities. We also endeavour to help those affected by disasters in our communities.
